Mysterius

TIMELESS ZONE (2am Amsterdam)
It was a 12 hour plane ride from Lima to Amsterdam and I was unable to sleep. I walked the aisle, stretched, watched bad movies, ate bad food. I paid extra for the front row leg room and still couldn’t sleep. In an uncharming Amsterdam airport hotel on a grey day, I slept for 5 hours and was awake again at 2am with 5 more hours to wait for my Prague flight. My body clock was off in a +7-time zone. Uncomfortable.

NOW (3pm Prague)
I have arrived and the joy has returned to my heart, if not quite yet to my body. Prague is a beautiful city with warm kind friendly people. I arrived early before I could check into my apartment. Around the corner from the AirBnB is a hotel called Mysterius. They kept my luggage in reception while I ate a delicious buffet breakfast with smoked salmon, a cheese platter, bacon and eggs, artichoke hearts and a juicy orange. Decafe coffee. Then they gave me directions to a tech store to buy a computer cable (I left mine in Pisac.) and a cell phone store to buy a SIM card. Now I’m connected.

Arriving back at my rental, Eva welcomed me with open arms. She’s been to Peru and has an interest in shamanic healing. She invited me for tea at the apartment where she lives. My flat is beautiful, a few blocks from the main plaza, a charming historic neighborhood. I am settling in and very happy to be here in the now.
