Inalienable

I woke up from a dream this morning where I was talking with friends about the US Constitution and its inalienable rights. I started researching what those rights are. The general ones I recalled aren’t really in the constitution. “Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness” is written in the Declaration of Independence. The Bill of Rights is where the first 10 amendments to the Constitution were ratified in 1791. The first one are “Freedoms” – of Religion, of speech, of the press and freedom to assemble. I wonder how inalienable they are these days… and why I was dreaming about it!
