Look what I found today! I imagine it’s private property but I was in urgent need of a shady spot to sit and rest, just as I noticed an open entrance to this deserted peaceful place. My intention was to ride to the county border but I missed the sign and rode too far for my own good in the hot sun.
I wanted to see if the beaches had opened in Martin county. My brother told me that Martin was a Republican county whereas Palm Beach is not. I wondered what that had to do with beaches. Why would the Dems want to keep them closed? Not having lived in the States for 30 years, I’m often bewildered by the politics here. Now might be a good time to put aside the ‘party line’ and use some other criteria for broadening our perspectives.
I received an invitation yesterday from Dr. Bruce Lipton, who spoke about quantum physics and how our intentions and visualizations have the power to create. The invitation was to visualize a space of love, peace and harmony at 11am and 11pm, wherever you are in the world.
When I began my meditation last night and was groggy with sleep, a clear image came to me of Dorothy and her Wizard of Oz friends asleep in the poppy field poisoned by the Wicked Witch of the West. Then Glenda, the “good witch” waves her magic wand and it begins to snow – awakening Dorothy, the brain-less Scarecrow, the heart-less Tin Man and the cowardly Lion.
I visualized that ‘snow’ falling on the people of the world now, awakening our courage and compassion for a peaceful harmonious existence. I saw that ‘snow’ healing the ones who are suffering from Covid-19 and other plagues that keep us locked up in our doubt and fear. I saw planetary beings coming forward to show us a new way to travel, to connect, to co-create. As I floated back to sleep my dreams continued to capture images of a new and better world.
I can’t say I ever looked for the politicians to resolve our divisions or protect us from much of anything. Not one I can think of, made peace a priority. My faith lies in our own awakening — like-minded people willing to visualize, emotionalize and actualize harmony, peace and love. It’s worth meditating on, don’t you think? – at 11 and 11 or anytime your heart desires.
Tune out the voice of the politician and tune into your own imagination. Didn’t Glenda tell Dorothy at the end of the movie, she always had the power herself?
